ROBOTS, HUMANS, AI, & DISABILITIES (RHAD) Workshop

Abstract

The focus of this workshop is how robots and humans interact and influence each other to address human disabilities using the power of AI. For example, how these interactions impact task performance, depend on task complexity, size of collected data, environment, human factors, and distinct metrics to address different types of disability challenges.

List of Topics

Possible topics for contributions are:

  • AI risks and challenges in HRI
  • Personalization and trust
  • Social acceptance and dependability
  • HRI / HCI theoretical models and technologies
  • Assistive applications in workplace, healthcare, home, and STEM
  • Multimodal user interfaces to address diverse disabilities and human needs
  • Extended reality (VR, AR, MR, XR) in the world of robots and humans
  • Privacy and information security risks and challenges
  • Data-driven human in the loop methodologies
  • Choosing the metrics- one size does not fit all
  • Task complexity, data size issues, and human factors
