Theme and Goals

The PETRA PHD FORUM (PPF) gives Ph.D. students the opportunity to describe their work and receive expert feedback. It also enables them to see what other students are working on as well as make themselves better known to industry and academics. Participating students in PPF will receive support and valuable feedback on new and existing methods and approaches that may span from sensor technologies to data mining, computer vision and other computational methods. Their work will be published in a special issue of the electronic journal EJETA.ORG.

Presentations

Each participating student will give a 20 minute power point presentation and distribute an accompanying 4 page document that includes cited references and diagrams explaining their work. Following the presentation, there will be a 5 minute question and answer session. At the end of all presentations, there will be an open discussion session and selection of the best presentation.
