Travel Award Information

NSF DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM STUDENT-AUTHOR TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS

PETRA SCHOLARS

PETRA '08 has been awarded with NSF funding to support a number of graduate student authors to participate in the conference. Funding will be made available of up to $1500 per student to cover his or her expenses. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. It is expected that the student's institution will cover the remaining expenses.

To apply, a student must be attending a US institution and must be author of a submitted paper to PETRA and submit the completed application form, attach a letter of support from his/her advisor, and a resume.

The deadline for this is May 20, 2008. All students awarded of such a travel award will be named PETRA-SCHOLARS and their names will become part of the conference proceedings.

7. TITLE OF SUBMITTED PAPER AND ABSTRACT
8. PERSONAL STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND REASON FOR PETRA SCHOLAR AWARD
9. LIST THREE CONFERENCE TOPICS CLOSEST TO YOUR WORK
10. DESCRIPTION OF THESIS DEGREE WORK (150 WORDS)
11. REFERENCE LETTER AND SIGNATURE BY FACULTY ADVISOR
12. RESUME
